The Mfano Bora Attachment Management System is an enterprise desktop and web platform designed to streamline and automate the complete lifecycle of student attachments and internships. Operating in both standalone Client-Server network modes and web-accessible environments, the system handles everything from initial student applications to automated attendance tracking, digital contract signing, and daily logbook management.
Managing student attachments manually or across fragmented, paper-based systems creates significant operational inefficiencies: Manual Logbook & Attendance Fraud: Traditional paper logbooks and manual sign-in sheets are prone to proxy attendance, forgery, and missing entries. Administrative Bottlenecks: Coordinators and supervisors spend excessive time manually tracking applications, processing contracts, assigning placements, and approving leave or overtime requests. Lack of Real-Time Visibility: Monitoring student daily activities, task progress, and overall performance across departments is difficult for supervisors and administrators. Paper-Heavy Workflows: Physical contract signing, physical report submissions, and manual document storage lead to higher administrative overhead and lost records.
Attachees (Students): Apply for attachments, digitally sign contracts, log daily work entries, submit attendance via biometric facial scan, and request leave/overtime. Supervisors: Monitor assigned attachees, review logbook entries, assign daily tasks, evaluate performance, and approve placement contracts and leave requests. Coordinators: Oversee student recruitment, schedule interviews, approve contracts, coordinate departmental placements, and schedule training sessions. IT Managers / Administrators: Manage user permissions across roles, configure system settings, maintain facial recognition calibration, view system logs, and manage database backups.
